Emergency Management at UBC focuses on providing plans, processes and training to lay the foundation for a coordinated and effective response to emergency events on campus.

Our responsibilities include:

• Disaster Response Plan
• Continuity Planning
• Administration of the Emergency Planning Steering Committee
• Annual Emergency Exercise
• Emergency Planning Training Courses

The Emergency Planning Steering Committee (EPSC), comprised of members from staff and faculty, actively provides guidance and advice to the Emergency Planning Office and undertakes activities to further the effectiveness of emergency management at UBC.
