Emergency Preparedness Training

This workshop covers basic principles of emergency preparedness with a focus on two key areas: preparing individuals for 72 hours of self-reliance, and prevention activities to reduce injuries and damage to property in the event of a major disaster or emergency.

Emphasis is placed on compiling emergency supplies on an individual basis. Information on natural and technological disasters can be tailored to suit the needs of your department or building.

Topics include:

  • Earthquake procedures
  • Fire Safety / Evacuation procedures
  • Lockdown procedures
